MANILA - A sedan toppled three electric posts in Barangay Ugong, Pasig City, prompting a school to suspend its classes on Thursday.
Police said Toyota Vios driven by a woman, who is reportedly a granddaughter of Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency chief Dionisio Santiago, rammed a Meralco post on St. Paul Street right in front of the St. Paul College.
Two more electric posts were toppled after the crash, resulting in a power outage around the area. The school has suspended Thursday's classes.
Reports said it would take time to replace the toppled electric posts and the restoration of power supply in the area.
